Process for Handling Speaking Requests
Step 1: Form Submission
A speaking request form is completed with the following details:
- Name
- Organization
- Name of Event
- Date of Event
- Approximate Size of Audience
Step 2: Initial Contact by Speaker Manager
The Speaker Manager receives the lead and promptly contacts the prospect via email and phone.
Step 3: Discovery Call with Prospect
Conduct an exploratory call to:
- Learn more about the event format, goals, and audience
- Confirm event date and location (if applicable)
- Discuss budget and any logistical needs
Step 4: Match with Speaker
- The Speaker Manager identifies a speaker that aligns with the event’s goals and audience.
- The Speaker is introduced directly to the event organizer to begin collaboration.
Step 5: Event Materials Coordination
- Speaker Manager determines if books, custom stickers, or other materials are needed.
- Coordinates ordering and delivery to:
- The Speaker for transport
- Or directly to the Event Coordinator
